Michelle McDowall

michelleMichelle first started dancing at the age of five with Jazz, Tap and Classical Ballet. Her love of dance has now become her career. She is a registered teacher with The Royal Academy of Dance and has over 25 years experience teaching students from pre-school age to adult. Michelle has taught at various dance schools in Geelong and also ran her own dance school.

Michelle also has many local theatre credits, appearing in Oklahoma, King and I, My Fair Lady and Hello Dolly. Since 1996 she has also been working as a free-lance choreographer. Michelle has choreographed shows for GSODA Junior Players, Geelong Lyric Theatre Society, Centre Stage and Medimime Productions. Some of these shows include Annie, Sinbad, Aladdin, The Wizard of Oz, The Producers, The Grinch. Singing in the Rain and Oliver. Michelle has recently choreographed Centre Stage’s production of Sound of Music.
